I look at the available light and how it changes across the day, then discuss portrait timings with you. Preparation rooms, ceremony spaces and sheltered areas all influence where photographs can be made.
Documentary first, directed second
I follow the celebration as it happens, with agreed time for portraits and family groups. Those photographs are prepared around your relationships and the schedule, rather than repeated throughout the day.
One photographer, one consistent eye
I prepare the coverage with you and photograph the wedding myself. Any additional coverage or photographer should be specified in the proposal, so you know what has been agreed.
Discretion, especially for a destination wedding
I stay attentive to the people and what is happening around them. Portraits and family photographs have their agreed place in the schedule; the rest of the coverage follows the celebration.
After the wedding
