The number of wedding photographs depends on the hours of coverage and what happens during the day. Ask what the proposal includes, how the images are selected and how the gallery is delivered, rather than comparing image counts alone.

For a full-day reportage, discuss the events covered and how the photographs are selected and delivered. A larger image count does not by itself tell you how well the story is covered.
What affects the final number
- Hours of coverage: a twelve-hour day naturally produces more images than a six-hour one
- Number of guests and distinct groups for family portraits
- Number of locations or ceremonies across the day
- Whether a second photographer is present, capturing simultaneous moments from different angles
Quality over quantity: why more isn't always better
Image selection removes duplicates and unsuccessful frames and gives the reportage a coherent sequence. The delivered gallery brings together the photographs selected to tell the day.
How and when you'll receive them
I select and edit the photographs before preparing the private online gallery. Delivery is generally within two weeks, with a contractual maximum of one month. The wedding FAQ explains the delivery arrangements.
